Grass Fed Beef Sticks from Paleovalley

I love having Paleovalley Beef Sticks on hand. These snack sticks are so delicious, portable, shelf stable and perfect snack for travelling and on the go. This healthy and clean snack will keep you on track and you will not be having blood sugar crashes or cravings. These awesome snack sticks are rated as one of the top snacks of the year by Paleo Magazine because they are made with organic spices and clean ingredients. Make sure to get great discount on these snack sticks here.

Almost all other snack stick products in the market use GMO corn-based citric acid and hydrogenated oils and spices that are more likely sprayed herbicides and pesticides. But these Paleo Valley beef sticks are fermented so they are delicious and shelf stable product without use of chemicals and damaging ingredients that are used just for preserving. It is very hard to find anything fermented with meat these days. And the most important thing is each stick contains naturally occurring beneficial gut friendly bacteria due to this old and natural fermentation method that is lacking in modern diets.

These beef sticks are made with 100% grass fed and grass finished beef which is more richer in minerals, vitamins and antioxidants than conventional beef. Grass fed beef is three times higher in omega 3 than grain fed beef. It has ideal ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 fatty acids that is helpful in reducing inflammation. Many Americans have very imbalanced omega 3 and omega 6 ratio due to standard American diet. Whenever omega-6 levels are too high, inflammation is often the result which is a major cause of chronic diseases. So you can really start to get that balance back by eating these beef sticks that are rich in omega 3s and keep the inflammation low.

Grass fed beef is best source of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) that has the ability to prevent diseases like cancer, diabetes and heart disease. It has higher concentrations of master antioxidant glutathione than conventional grain fed beef. Glutathione is critical for maintaining our health and preventing us from premature aging, cancer, Alzheimer, dementia, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and much more. So these 100 % grass fed beef sticks are great source for getting enough of this master antioxidant.

Grass fed beef is regenerative for the soil and beneficial to our environment. Lush green pastures free of chemicals and pesticides are where the cow fertilizes its own feeding ground. It eliminates the problem of disposing tons of manure made by animals in conventional feedlots. It helps pull carbon out of the atmosphere with little or no waste generated unlike the run off from feed-lots that pollutes the environment, contaminates the water supply and takes sea life.

These snack sticks are available in so delicious flavors i.e. original, jalapeno, summer sausage, garlic summer sausage and teriyaki. There is no sugar or sweetener added to them. They are very low in carbs especially the original ones. I like all the flavors but if you want to keep as many plain as possible, just avoid the flavored sticks and go with the original. They are great to keep your carbs down and sugar cravings low.

Boiled Eggs

Do not reserve eggs for just breakfast. Boiled eggs are great portable snack for any time of the day. You can boil a dozen eggs to keep in fridge to grab in a rush. I have a recipe for best hard boiled eggs in my 30 Day Carnivore Diet Challenge e book as well as many more recipes and helpful tools and tips to support people who want to try carnivore diet.

Bacon

Who doesn’t love bacon? It is something very portable, ideal for snack on the go and can stay good out of the fridge for several hours. If you used to eat Chex mix, make yourself a bag of bacon and cheese slices mixed with some pork rinds.

Cheese

Cheese is very nutritious and best source of calcium on carnivore diet. You can take some cheese slices if you can tolerate dairy. I usually love eating goat cheese because it has less casein and lactose. It is great for people who can’t tolerate regular cow dairy. You can watch my you tube video about my goat cheese vs cow dairy experiment here.

Rotisserie Chicken

Another big thing on carnivore diet is leftovers. You can eat leftover rotisserie chicken for couple of days. It stays fresh in the fridge for three to four days and makes for a great option for a carnivore snack. I like to add butter slices when eating the white meat to increase satiety.

Ground Beef

Frozen. cooked, ground beef burgers and patties are great snack that can sit out at room temperature for about 4 hours for the next meal.

Canned Seafood

Canned seafood like tuna, sardines and oysters are good snack options on carnivore diet. You can bring a can on longer car trips or keep a stash at your work place. This is a go to for a fairly inexpensive and affordable snack that will take care of hunger pangs. Tuna is a perfect snack if you want something different from red meat. But just make sure to watch out for additives in the ingredients list.

Electrolyte Drink

Electrolytes on the carnivore diet can be like a snack as your salt needs on the carnivore diet are increased. Sometimes when you feel depleted or dehydrated you just need sea salt. So just add couple of pinches of this in water and drink, you will feel fresh or might not even need to eat. My sister, Ellen Weeks, has created her own recipe for carnivore diet electrolyte drink that you can find here.

Bone Broth

Another option is bone broth. It is my favorite hot drink of all time on carnivore diet. You can take it anytime. Bone broth has little bit of electrolytes in it and give you a whole lot of glycine or collagen which is wonderful for your hair, skin, and nails. It provides important minerals and vitamins that you need to cope with stress in our daily lives. It is an inexpensive way to get minerals and vitamins without taking supplements, which sometimes are not absorbed by the body when isolated from foods in supplements. I like to make my own bone broth and I have a video of how to make bone broth in instant pot here for the carnivore diet to get more electrolytes, gelatin, and collagen for your carnivore diet.

Cold Cuts

Another great option is cold cuts. You can get cold cuts from the the deli and take them with you wherever you go. But watch out for the added sodium and additives like nitrites in the ingredients list that most pre-packaged deli meat has should ideally be avoided.

Pork Rinds

Pork rinds can be used to snack on. Pork rinds are high fat and satiating. They tend to be one of the better snacks on the carnivorediet if you check the ingredients and be careful for what they are cooked with. Make sure to get the pork rinds with just pork and salt. Find ones with no fillers, vegetable oils and sugar added to them.
